Published on: April 7, 2026 8:25 PM

Pakistan’s military has condemned Iran’s attacks on Saudi Arabia as unnecessary escalation. It warned these strikes harm ongoing diplomatic efforts for peaceful conflict resolution. The development affects regional stability and key stakeholders across the Middle East.

The statement came during the 274th Corps Commanders’ Conference chaired by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. According to Inter-Services Public Relations, the forum expressed serious concern over recent developments. It strongly condemned attacks targeting Saudi petrochemical and industrial facilities. The commanders highlighted that Saudi Arabia has shown restraint despite provocations. They said this approach supports mediation and diplomatic solutions. However, continued aggression could damage the environment needed for dialogue. Therefore, the forum urged all sides to avoid actions that increase instability.

Meanwhile, the conference paid tribute to martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national defense. It reaffirmed the commitment to eliminate terrorism without discrimination. The leadership emphasized intelligence-based operations to counter threats effectively. Additionally, the forum pledged to dismantle terrorist networks and their facilitators.
