Dar receives call from Dutch foreign minister

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar received a telephone call from Dutch Foreign Minister Tom Brandsen, according to Pakistan’s Foreign Office. The two leaders discussed the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic efforts. The conversation focused on peace and stability in conflict-affected areas.

The Dutch foreign minister praised Pakistan’s role in facilitating a ceasefire in the region. He expressed support for Islamabad’s continued efforts to promote lasting peace. Both sides acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic engagement in easing regional tensions.

During the call, both officials raised concern over serious violations of the ceasefire in Lebanon. They emphasized the need for strict and full implementation of the agreement. Both sides stressed that compliance is essential for long-term regional stability.

The two countries also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation. They agreed to expand collaboration in trade, economic, and investment sectors. Officials said both sides aim to deepen engagement across multiple areas.
