Islamabad Talks strengthened country’s repute: Marriyum

Senior Minister Punjab and leader of the Muslim League (N) Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Sunday the results of Islamabad talks were expected to promote stability in the region and global peace.

She thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, while terming the talks as an important and decisive moment in the history.

She said that Pakistan had proven that diplomacy was a continuous process, not just an event, the results of talks were expected to promote stability in the region and global peace. She said that talks in Islamabad were a moment of pride at the national level, Pakistan’s seriousness, perseverance and dignity were demonstrated, the country had further strengthened its reputation and trust at the global level.

She said the future was safe in the hands of capable and far-sighted leadership. In the last four days, an example of high-quality arrangements for international guests was set, and Pakistan’s hospitality and professional capabilities were recognized at the global level.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said that Pakistan had established itself as a neutral and reliable peace negotiator, the rise of diplomacy was a rich manifestation of world-class hosting.
