Performing at the Outdoor Theatre stage, BIGBANG delivered a one-hour set beginning at 10:30 pm PT, marking their most significant live appearance in years. The performance is part of their 20th anniversary celebrations and represents a major comeback after a long hiatus from major global stages.

The group—comprising G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung—returned with renewed energy, captivating fans with a setlist expected to include iconic hits such as “Fantastic Baby,” “Haru Haru,” and “Bang Bang Bang.” Known for their powerful stage presence and influence on modern K-pop, the trio reaffirmed their status as one of the genre’s most influential acts.

Their appearance at Coachella comes after years of anticipation from fans worldwide. The announcement of their participation triggered a strong response across social media, with global fan communities organizing watch parties and live-stream events to celebrate the reunion.

Industry observers noted that BIGBANG’s return to a major international festival stage highlights the continued global expansion of K-pop and its ability to draw massive audiences beyond Asia. The group’s legacy has influenced numerous newer acts, helping shape the international success of the genre over the past two decades.

The performance is scheduled to repeat during the second weekend of the festival on April 19, with both appearances taking place at the same stage. Organizers described the set as one of the festival’s most anticipated highlights.
