Global leaders praise Pakistan mediation role

Global leaders have praised Pakistan’s role in mediating high-stakes talks between the United States and Iran. The recognition highlights Pakistan’s growing diplomatic importance in easing global tensions. The development affects regional stability and ongoing international peace efforts.

US Vice President JD Vance commended Pakistan’s leadership during an interview with Fox News. He praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir for their mediation efforts. He described them as exceptional hosts who demonstrated strong statesmanship.

Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also acknowledged Pakistan’s diplomatic contributions. British MP Muhammad Afzal told Parliament that Pakistan is leading efforts to resolve tensions. Starmer endorsed these remarks and thanked Pakistan for promoting peace.

In addition, former Indian military officer Yashpal Mor praised Pakistan’s neutral stance. He said Pakistan earned trust from both sides through balanced diplomacy. He also highlighted Field Marshal Munir’s leadership as crucial to the mediation process.

Furthermore, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand appreciated Pakistan’s facilitation efforts during a call with Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar. Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and diplomacy. Both leaders agreed to maintain close coordination moving forward.
