EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas commended Pakistan’s constructive role in enabling direct US-Iran negotiations held in Islamabad. According to the Foreign Office, both sides stressed the importance of continued dialogue and diplomacy. They also reviewed ongoing regional developments and agreed to maintain close coordination.

In a separate call, Canadian Foreign Minister Anita Anand also appreciated Pakistan’s facilitation of dialogue between the two sides.
