Gold prices decline by Rs 3,300 per tola

The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 3,300 to settle at Rs 501,562 compared to Rs 504,862 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 2,829 to Rs 430,008 from Rs 432,837, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 2,593 to Rs 394,188 against Rs 396,781. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $33 to $4,792 per ounce from $4,825. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 70 to Rs 8,444 from Rs 8,514, while the price of 10 grams of silver also decreased by Rs 60 to Rs 7,239 from Rs 7,299. The price of silver in the international market decreased by $0.70 to $79.60 per ounce from $80.30.
