Saiban project launched to improve public facilities in Muzaffargarh

Published on: April 23, 2026 2:28 AM

Regional Police Officer Dera Ghazi Khan, Muhammad Azhar Akram, visited Muzaffargarh and inaugurated the Saiban Project to improve facilities for the public at police offices.

He also opened a new auditorium at Police Lines. The project aims to provide a better environment for visitors and improve official work.

On arrival, District Police Officer Syed Ghazanfar Ali Shah welcomed the RPO. A police contingent presented a salute. The RPO visited the martyrs’ memorial, laid flowers and offered prayers.

He held open courts at District Council Hall and Marhaba Hall in Khangarh. Many people attended and shared their problems. The RPO listened carefully and ordered officers to take quick action.

He said providing justice at people’s doorstep is a top priority under the chief minister’s vision. He warned that delay or injustice will not be accepted.

During the visit, the RPO chaired a meeting to review crime and police performance. He directed officers to complete investigations on time and submit cases to courts on merit. He asked for better action against gangs involved in theft, robbery and other crimes.

He also reviewed ongoing construction projects. He told officers to finish work on time and maintain quality.

The RPO met members of the peace committee, traders, lawyers and media representatives. He later visited different sections of Police Lines, including the record room, canteen and gym.

He congratulated officers promoted under the P-cadre scheme. He also met officers attending a training session and asked them to treat the public with respect and improve their behaviour.
