Israeli drone attack in Lebanon kills 1, injures 3 near Beirut

A video circulating on social media shows an incident in Southern Lebanon Taybeh area where Hezbollah allegedly carried out a drone attack near Israeli military personnel, causing panic among soldiers on the ground. The footage has not been independently verified by international media, but it has drawn widespread attention online due to the intensity of the visuals.

According to reports shared alongside the video, the incident occurred while Israeli forces were in the process of evacuating injured personnel from the area. In the clip, soldiers can be seen moving around a field position when a drone approaches their vicinity. Moments later, the situation escalates as the personnel react quickly, with several soldiers seen taking cover and firing toward the incoming drone.

The video further shows the drone descending before apparently crashing to the ground and exploding shortly afterward. A loud blast is heard, followed by visible movement of soldiers dispersing from the immediate area. The sequence has fueled claims that the device was used in a targeted strike close to Israeli positions.

Hezbollah has previously been involved in cross-border exchanges with Israeli forces along the Lebanon-Israel frontier, with drones increasingly reported as part of modern battlefield tactics in the ongoing tensions. However, details regarding the exact timing, damage, or casualties from this specific incident remain unclear, and no official confirmation of losses has been independently verified at this stage.

Israeli authorities have not issued detailed public comments specifically addressing the viral footage, while regional media outlets continue to report differing accounts of the event. Analysts note that drone warfare has become a growing feature in the broader conflict dynamics in the region.

The video continues to circulate widely, sparking debate over the escalation of tactics and the risks faced by military personnel in active border zones.
