Pakistan win silver at Asian Beach Games

Pakistan’s wrestler Inam Butt was defeated in the 90kg category final at the Asian Beach Games in Sanya, China, securing the silver medal. He lost to an Iranian opponent in a closely contested match. The result added to Pakistan’s overall medal tally in the wrestling events.

In another strong performance, Asadullah also won a silver medal for Pakistan in the 80kg category. He was defeated in the final by another Iranian wrestler. Despite the loss, his performance contributed to Pakistan’s success in the competition.

Pakistan’s wrestlers have shown strong form throughout the tournament. Earlier rounds saw competitive performances that ensured multiple medal finishes. The team’s efforts highlighted growing strength in beach wrestling on the international stage.

In the 70kg category, Pakistan’s Abdullah missed out on a bronze medal after losing to a Kyrgyz wrestler. The defeat ended his campaign without a podium finish. However, the overall performance remained competitive across categories.

The Asian Beach Games in Sanya featured strong participation from across the region. Pakistan’s wrestlers managed to secure multiple medals despite tough opposition. Officials say the results reflect progress in the country’s wrestling development.
