Field Marshal Asim Munir highlights national unity against terrorism threats

Field Marshal Asim Munir said Pakistan stands united like “Bunyan-e-Marsoos” against internal and external challenges. He made the remarks while chairing the 275th Corps Commanders Conference. The meeting reviewed national security, counterterrorism operations, and regional threats. The leadership emphasized unity, readiness, and coordinated national response.

According to ISPR, the forum paid tribute to martyrs of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies. It said their sacrifices remain the foundation of national security and stability. Commanders reaffirmed commitment to protecting the country against all threats. They also stressed continued support for families of the fallen.

The forum focused on ongoing operations against terrorist networks and their support systems. It decided to maintain operational momentum to eliminate militant infrastructure. Officials said Pakistan will not allow its territory to be misused. They reviewed progress under current counterterrorism operations across multiple regions.

Military leadership also discussed regional developments and security challenges. It criticized alleged support for militant groups from Afghan authorities. Officials rejected propaganda claims and termed them disinformation. They said Pakistan’s operations target only terrorists and their bases.

Asim Munir directed commanders to maintain high operational readiness and vigilance. He praised the professionalism of armed forces in counterterrorism operations. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to regional stability and responsible conduct. The conference concluded with emphasis on unity, preparedness, and strategic coordination.
