Achakzai and Fazlur Rehman Hold Key Political Meeting

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai met JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman in Islamabad. The meeting focused on political developments and parliamentary affairs in Pakistan. Both leaders discussed opposition parties’ mutual cooperation as political tensions continue to rise in the country.

During the meeting at Parliament House, both leaders reviewed the current political environment in detail. They discussed ongoing tensions between political forces and the need for coordination among opposition parties. In addition, they explored ways to strengthen communication and unity within the opposition alliance.

Furthermore, the two leaders discussed National Assembly proceedings and the government’s working style. They also reviewed the opposition’s strategy for upcoming parliamentary sessions. Both agreed that Parliament must play a stronger role in addressing public concerns and ensuring democratic stability.

Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed concern over the current political situation. He said that constitutional principles are being undermined. Moreover, he criticized the existing political approach, saying it does not align with democratic values. He stressed the need to restore proper constitutional order.

Meanwhile, Mahmood Khan Achakzai addressed the Assembly and highlighted rising inflation and poverty. He said that many citizens are struggling below the poverty line. He warned that the opposition may be forced to protest against economic hardship and public issues. He also demanded debate on inflation, foreign policy, and terrorism.

In conclusion, both leaders agreed to strengthen communication among opposition parties going forward. They emphasized continued coordination on political and parliamentary matters. Ultimately, opposition parties’ mutual cooperation may shape future political strategies as tensions and public pressure continue to grow.
