Gold prices decline by Rs 15,500 per tola

The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 15,500 to settle at Rs 476,862 compared to Rs 492,362 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 13,289 to Rs 408,832 from Rs 422,121, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 12,182 to Rs 374,776 against Rs 386,958. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $155 to $4,545 per ounce from $4,700. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola declined by Rs 972 to Rs 8,232, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs 833 to Rs 7,057. The price of silver in the international market decreased by $9.72 to $77.48 per ounce.
