The actress attended the festival as part of the honorary South Asian Women Excellence in Cinema and Arts group. As Sanam Saeed walked the red carpet, attendees welcomed her with applause and praised her elegant appearance. The actress responded warmly, expressing gratitude to the audience for their appreciation. Unlike many celebrities opting for western fashion, Sanam Saeed chose a traditional eastern outfit for her Cannes debut, earning admiration on social media and from fashion enthusiasts. Saeed chose a handcrafted, white and silver halter-neck outfit that seamlessly blended traditional South Asian aesthetics with modern global glamour. The look featured intricate mukesh, zardozi, and mirror work. According to the designer, 50 artisans spent over 2,300 hours crafting the custom creation.
She paired the outfit with a vintage-inspired, long braided hairstyle woven with fresh pink and white flowers, and accessorized with white gold diamond jewelry.
The outfit worn by the actress was designed by Hussain Rehar, adding a distinct cultural touch to her appearance at the international event. Sanam dedicated her appearance as a heartfelt homage to late veteran actress Shamim Ara, honouring the icon who paved the way for women in the industry.
