
France has banned far-right Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir from entering French territory. The decision follows growing international anger over the treatment of activists aboard a Gaza-bound flotilla. The move signals increasing European pressure on controversial Israeli officials amid the ongoing Gaza crisis.
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot announced the ban through a post on social media platform X. He confirmed that Ben-Gvir is now prohibited from entering France. Furthermore, Barrot said he is working with Italy to push for wider European Union sanctions against the Israeli minister.

According to international media reports, outrage intensified after Ben-Gvir released a video mocking activists travelling toward Gaza.
