The Sindh Senior Minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon on the occasion of Yom-e-Takbeer credited Pakistan Peoples Party’s founding Chairman and former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto for giving nuclear weapons technology to the country.
In a statement issued here on Thursday he said May 28 would always be remembered as a momentous day in the history of Pakistan.
“By carrying out nuclear tests Pakistan showed its defence capabilities to the world besides establishing its sovereignty and self-confidence,” he observed.
“It is also a day of national prestige, courage and self-confidence,” Memon added.
The Senior Minister reiterated that Pakistan was a peace loving country but it also possessed full capability for its defence.
