Trump considers strikes on Iran infrastructure

Published on: June 10, 2026 7:45 PM

US President Donald Trump is reportedly considering new strikes on Iranian infrastructure, including bridges and power plants. The claim was reported by US media citing a recent phone interview. The development comes amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran.

According to Fox News, Trump suggested he may authorize further attacks if Iran delays reaching an agreement. The report said Iranian infrastructure could be targeted as part of potential military options. Moreover, the comments reflect escalating rhetoric between the two sides.

Trump also posted strong remarks on his social media platform Truth Social. He claimed Iran’s military capabilities had been severely weakened. Furthermore, he said key branches such as the navy and air force were no longer effective.

The US president accused Iran of delaying negotiations on a possible agreement. He said the country had missed opportunities to reach a favourable deal. Additionally, he warned that Tehran would now “pay the price” for its decisions.

However, no official confirmation has been issued regarding any approved military action. Still, the statements have increased concerns about further escalation in the region. The situation remains highly sensitive amid ongoing geopolitical tensions.
