Pakistani comedian Ali Gul Pir marked a deeply personal milestone this Father’s Day as he announced the birth of his son, Salar, sharing the news through a heartfelt post on Instagram.

The announcement came as Gul Pir celebrated his first Father’s Day as a new parent. He shared photos featuring his wife, Dr Azeemah Nakhoda, alongside their newborn son, as well as a video showing gifts he received from his wife in honour of the occasion.

In his emotional caption, the comedian reflected on holding his son for the first time, expressing a wish to give him a life filled with happiness and protection from pain. He acknowledged, however, that life would inevitably include challenges, and said he hoped to always remain a supportive presence for his child.

Gul Pir wrote that while he cannot shield his son from every hardship, he will always stand by him as a father. He concluded his message with a Father’s Day greeting to himself, celebrating the start of his journey into fatherhood.

The comedian also thanked his wife for making the day special, highlighting the thoughtful gifts she arranged to mark his first Father’s Day. The post quickly gained attention on social media, where fans congratulated the couple on the birth of their son.

In addition to the personal announcement, a Karachi-based mithayi shop, S Abdul Wahid, shared a themed video showcasing specially prepared gift boxes designed for the occasion. The blue, bassinet-shaped boxes were later reposted by Gul Pir on his Instagram story, adding a festive touch to the announcement.

Ali Gul Pir, known for his comedic work and social commentary, has frequently shared glimpses of his personal life online, but the birth of his son marks one of the most significant moments of his life to date.

The announcement was widely shared across social media platforms, with fans and fellow entertainers sending congratulations and well wishes to the family as they welcomed their new addition.
