Marriyum meets PA speaker

Senior Provincial Minister Punjab, Marriyum Aurangzeb, met with Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan. During the meeting, matters related to Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s development vision, the recently concluded budget session, and ongoing public welfare initiatives across the province were discussed.

On behalf of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb thanked Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan for conducting the proceedings of the budget session in an efficient, impartial and exemplary manner. She appreciated his role in upholding democratic traditions, parliamentary values and the dignity of the House throughout the session.

Speaker Punjab Assembly Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan expressed his gratitude to Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for initiating and supporting development projects for the Punjab Assembly.

Speaking on the occasion, the Speaker said that the remarkable progress being made in every sector, including the Suthra Punjab Programme, Apni Chhat Apna Ghar initiative, environmental improvement measures, infrastructure development, education and healthcare, reflects the hard work, commitment and visionary leadership of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif.

He further stated that the expansion of Metro and Electric Bus services across Punjab is a significant step towards providing modern, safe and environmentally friendly transportation facilities to the people and represents one of the finest public service initiatives of the Chief Minister.

The Speaker noted that for the first time, development projects are being implemented across all constituencies of Punjab irrespective of political affiliations, setting a positive democratic and political precedent while ensuring equitable development for all citizens.

Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb also acknowledged and appreciated Speaker Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan’s valuable services for parliament, democracy and the party. She said that under his leadership, the Punjab Assembly has played an important role in strengthening democratic institutions and promoting effective legislation.
