Aamir Khan plans luxury family residence in Mumbai

Published on: July 13, 2026 1:34 PM

Bollywood star Aamir Khan has reportedly decided to build a large luxury residence designed to keep his entire family living within the same residential complex.

According to Indian media reports, the actor is planning to redevelop the Bella Vista and Marina Apartments, located near Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill area. The redevelopment project is expected to combine multiple apartments into a spacious sky villa that will accommodate several members of the Khan family under one roof while maintaining separate living spaces.

Reports suggest that Aamir Khan, who already owns several apartments in Bella Vista, is planning to invest nearly ₹100 crore in the ambitious residential project. The new property is expected to include expansive areas for family gatherings, along with private residential sections designed to meet the needs of different family members.

The proposed residence will reportedly feature a dedicated entertainment floor, while another floor has been reserved for Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan. Media reports also claim that Aamir is expected to live on two floors with his wife, Gauri Spratt, and her son once the project is completed.

Other members of the actor’s family are also expected to have separate apartments within the same residential complex. According to reports, accommodation has been planned for Aamir Khan’s mother, Zeenat Hussain, his sisters Nikhat Khan and Farhat Khan Dutta, as well as his former wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad.

Until the redevelopment is complete, Aamir Khan has reportedly moved into a temporary apartment near Pali Hill. The project reflects the actor’s desire to keep his close family members together while ensuring privacy for everyone.

It is worth noting that Indian media recently reported that Aamir Khan married Gauri Spratt in a private ceremony at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The reports have added further interest to the actor’s plans for the new family home.
