Published on: July 15, 2026 11:55 PM

Punjab Judicial Officers

The Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court has approved a new scheme allowing judicial officers in Punjab to purchase government vehicles at heavily discounted prices. Under the Punjab Judicial Officers Car Scheme, eligible officers will be able to buy official cars for approximately Rs. 250,000 to Rs. 350,000 through the Transport Monetization Facility.

According to the official circular, nearly 2,000 judicial officers across Punjab will benefit from the scheme. The initiative is designed to provide government-owned vehicles to eligible officers at subsidized rates.

The scheme covers District and Sessions Judges, Additional District and Sessions Judges, Senior Civil Judges, Civil Judges, and Family Court Judges. These officers will be able to purchase the vehicles within the approved price range.

Judges serving in Anti-Terrorism Courts, Accountability Courts, Banking Courts, FIA Courts, Anti-Narcotics Courts, Customs Courts, and Labour Courts are also included in the program. The scheme extends to a wide range of judicial services across the province.

Judicial officers from the Punjab judiciary who are currently serving on deputation in the Supreme Court, Islamabad High Court, Constitutional Court, and other institutions will also be eligible. The Punjab Judicial Officers Car Scheme is expected to provide affordable access to official vehicles for eligible members of the judiciary.
