The famous Austrian-American film star and former California governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger had an open-heart surgery at Cedars-Sinai hospital California on Thursday to replace an pulmonic valve, according to his representative, Daniel Ketchel. Ketchell, stated that the operation was successful and that ‘Terminator’ star is in stable condition. He tweeted, “Schwarzenegger is awake and his first words were actually ‘I’m back’, so he is in good spirits”. He said, the celebrity body-builder made the humorous comment in a twist to his famous catchphrase, “I’ll be back”, after waking up from the operation.

The action star, Schwarzenegger had the heart surgery to replace a valve that was originally replaced almost 20 years ago.Ketchell informed that the original substitute pulmonic valve had outlived its life expectancy. Hence, Schwarzenegger decided to have a non-invasive catheter valve replacement operation. Daniel Ketchell, told reporters “Governor Schwarzenegger’s pulmonic valve was successfully replaced.”
