Imran and wife to perform Umrah tomorrow

Published on: June 12, 2018 12:10 PM

RIYADH: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan along with his wife Bushra Maneka will perform Umrah today.

Khan’s close aides Zulfi Bukhari and Aleem Khan are also accompanying him. They left from Rawalpindi’s Nur Khan airbase via a chartered flight and reached Saudi Arabia on June 11 to spend Lailatul Qadar, the 27th night of Ramazan, at Roza-e-Rasool (PBUH).

Sources reported that the couple will perform Umrah tomorrow and will return to the country before Eid.

According to the sources, Zulfi Bukhari was stopped from boarding the flight when he was all set to fly with the party chairman and his wife, as his name was in Exit Control List (ECL).

The London-based businessman then was granted permission by Interior Ministry to travel to Saudi Arabia with a one-time exception for a period of six days to perform Umrah.
