Rajkumar Hirani confirms the sequel of ‘3 Idiots’

Rajkumar Hirani confirms the sequel of his movie, 3 Idiots, reported Mid Day.

3 Idiots was released in 2009 and since then it is loved by youngsters globally. The director said that he is currently working on the script and it is at its “initial stage”.

While promoting his upcoming movie, Sanju, Rajkumar Hirani said, “I definitely want to make a sequel to 3 Idiots. In fact, Abhijat [Joshi, writer] and I started writing something a few days ago. But it’s still in the initial stage and we will take a fair amount of time to develop the script,”

It is reported that the Hirani will start the shooting of Munna Bhai 3 after the release of Sanju. It is also said that they will start working on 3 Idiots, once Hirani is done with Munna Bhai 3.

“They have almost finalised the script of Munna Bhai 3. Raju is keen to start work on it,” said Rajkumar Hirani.

Sanju, starring Ranbir Kapoor is going to release on June 29 which revolves around the life of Sanjay Dutt.
