IG prisons grants special permission to Nawaz Sharif to meet family in jail on Friday

The former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is at present imprisoned at Adiala Jail over Avenfield properties case has been granted a special permission by the IG prisons to meet his family on Friday.

19 family members of Nawaz Sharif had earlier submitted a request to allow them to meet him and his daughter Maryam Nawaz.

According to reports, the prisons IG settled on letting the family meet the incarcerated father and daughter and the jail superintendent has been informed over the matter.

Thursday was previously allocated for visits. However, due to Eid holidays, the visitors could not meet the former prime minister and his daughter. So, the Sharif family requested permission to visit on Friday.

PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shehbaz and Nawaz’s mother met Nawaz, Maryam on Wednesday on the event of Eid-ul-Azha in Adiala Jail.
