Zoheb Hassan threatens legal action against sister Nazia Hassan’s ex-husband

Singer Zoheb Hassan has threatened legal action against late sister and singer Nazia Hassan’s ex-husband.

Hassan took to social media to say that his late sister ’s ex-husband was in talks to make a film on her “so he can feature himself and further profit from her name and fame.”

The singer took to Twitter to say:“The Hassan family has come to know that Nazia’s ex-husband is trying to make a film on her life so he can feature himself and further profit from her name and fame.” He added, “Anyone entertaining this individual shall be duly and legally sued by our family as he has no legal right or basis to do so.”

The 51-year-old singer added that the Hassan family will be taking the legal route if any such thing is implemented.

He further added that his family holds full publishing rights of all their music worldwide and any attempted infringement of their catalogue shall be subject to legal cost and consequence.

It is to be noted that Nazia Hassan had parted ways with her husband before her passing away and her troubled marriage was an open secret at that time.
