No difference between Messi and Ronaldo, says Dybala

Published on: September 29, 2018 12:25 PM

Juventus and Argentina forward Paulo Dybala on Saturday said that there is no difference between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and that both are phenomenal.

In an interview with Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, Dybala revealed how happy he is to be the only player to play alongside both Messi and Ronaldo.

“I am lucky to be the only player in the world to play alongside and learn from Messi and Ronaldo,” he said, adding that there is no difference between the two and that both are phenomenal.

He also lauded Ronaldo’s work-ethic saying that he has never seen someone working as hard as the Portugal captain. “The most surprising thing about Ronaldo is his intensity in the training and his desire to win,” said Dybala.

Dybala is not the only one to have played with both Messi and Ronaldo. Argentina forwards Angel Di Maria, Gonzalo Higuain, Carlos Tevez, Portugal midfielder Andre Gomes and Spain centre-back Gerard Pique have also shared dressing rooms with the two icons.

Ronaldo has so far scored 3 goals in his 7 appearances with Juventus. He signed from Real Madrid this summer for 100 million euros in what was a shock move to many.
