KoKoKorina: Twitter divided over Ahad Raza Mir’s Coke Studio debut

Published on: October 20, 2018 7:40 PM

Coke Studio season 11 has drawn mixed reactions from music lovers across the country. Some compositions have aced it, while others have failed to stir quite the magic. The latest talk of the town is Ahad Raza Mir’s Coke Studio debut in which he and Momina Mustehsan recreated 60s hit Ko Ko Korina from Waheed Murad’s film Armaan.

It sure was a brave move from Ahad to mark his entry into the music industry with such a challenging song. Some people believe Ahad did justice to the song, while others beg to differ.

Here are some of the reactions from Twitter over Ko Ko Korina

Team Ko Ko Kori-NAH!

This Twitter user believes the song was ‘garbage’. Harsh but as she said, it is what it is.

No chill whatsoever.

Momina mustehsan just never ceases to amaze me i mean how beautifully she ruined Ko Ko korina, ahmed rushdi must be having panic attacks in his grave right now.
