MMA prospect Muhammad Imran promises victory at ONE: Warrior’s Dream

Published on: November 9, 2018 11:31 AM

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) prospect Muhammad ‘The Spider‘ Imran will take on Indonesian counterpart Elipitua Siregar in a Strawweight bout at ONE Championship: Warrior’s Dream on November, 17, at Stadium Istora, Jakarta, Indonesia.

Imran thanked ONE administration and match-makers for the opportunity and promised to not disappoint. “I am thankful to ONE Championship, specially to matchmakers Matt Hume, Ric Auty And Bashir Ahmad for this opportunity and InshaAllah I will not disappoint my country. I respect my opponent and I have seen his last two fights in ONE.

One: Warrior’s Dream Fight card

Imran said he was prepared and had already watched and analysed a couple of his opponent’s recent bouts and is confident of getting the victory. “The opponents which he had faced were not experienced like me. I know he is a great wrestler and I am prepare for him,” Imran said,

Praising the efforts of his coaches and manager Imran said that all of this would not be possible without Jalil Ahmad and Muhammad Rizvan Ali, who are taking care of the athletes and he won’t disappoint the team.

This will be Imran’s second bout in ONE Championship. In January, he fought Stefer Rahardian at ONE: Kings of Courage in which he lost via a unanimous decision. The 26-year-old is tipped as one of the rising prospects in Pakistan’s ever-evolving Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) community. Imran also has a Pak Fight Club (Pakistan’s first MMA promotion) Strawweight title to his name.

The Pakistani MMA star has been training with some Afghan fighters as well for this fight.
