ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday informed that Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a special meeting of the National Command Authority (NCA) which oversees the operational command and control of the country’s nuclear arsenals on Wednesday (tomorrow).

Addressing a press conference along with defence and finance ministers Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that National Security Council (NSC) has decided to respond any act of aggression by India, after the Indian Line of Control (LoC) violation in Muzafrabad.

Pakistan Air Force in a timely response repelled Indian aircraft which violated the Line of Control (LoC) earlier today.

NSC strongly rejected Indian claim of airstrikes and targeting an alleged terrorist camp near Balakot and the claim of heavy casualties.

“The claimed area of strike is open for the world to see the facts on ground. For this, domestic and international media is being taken to the impact site,” Shah asserted.

Qureshi also informed that a three-member committee comprising Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, Finance Minister Asad Umar and himself will consult with the Parliament on the matter.

A high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday has decided to raise voice against Indian violation of Line of Control (Loc) at the international forum.

Prime Minister Imran Khan summoned a meeting in the wake of violation of Lion of Control (LoC) by Indian Air Force.

According to the sources the meeting was attended by Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Defence Ministers and Foreign Ministry.

The meeting decided that the matter of Indian LoC violation will be raised at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), United Nations and with friendly countries.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi briefed the meeting on the current situation of Line of Control (LoC) violation by Indian Air Force near Muzafrabad.
