Ali Zafar reveals his spiritual side

Published on: April 17, 2019 1:02 AM

The heartthrob of millions Ali Zafar revealing a softer side of his personality in a heart to heart conversation, divulged that his happiness lies in human relationships, with his parents, his wife, children and those near and dear to him.

Ali Zafar gave a glimpse of his spiritual side on an online show and offered sound advice to people who are anxious all the time, he was of the view that sustainable peace can only be obtained when a person detaches from all material things and seek knowledge and wisdom.

‘What makes me sad for people is how lost they’ve become not realizing how important it is for them to detach, they have to understand that they have to disconnect, seek knowledge and wisdom not information,’ he added.

Quoting Gandhi and Rumi, he advised people to surround them with positivity and positive people. Journey starts from the inside, self-correction and self-reflection is needed the most.

He advised people to stop sitting in drawing rooms and go out and witness what people are going through and aspire to change others life for the better.

‘If you change one life for the better, your entire life would change.’

Talking about his first crush Ali reminisced

‘My first crush was in class 7th, I recorded a cassette with old songs and poetry and gave it through a common friend to her but his crush didn’t take the cassette and it still lies in his drawer,’ he added.

What drew him towards his wife Ayesha was her kindness which he hasn’t been able to find till date in any other girl.

‘She was told by a friend of hers that a cute boy draws sketches, she came to get her sketch done and I gave her my number, she called me and we met. With time I witnessed her to be an angel like human being with so much kindness that I never saw in anyone else.’ He added.

The best thing for our society would be when we become good human beings.

‘We should strive to be better human beings; no one can claim that he/her has never made a mistake in this life. Ego should be shunned because it’s our biggest enemy,’ he added.

He believes death to be a transition and it should be embraced.

‘Thank you God for bringing me into this life and for everything that you gave me in this life and I’m ready to come to you,’ he added.
