Two teenagers arrested for alleged sexual assault of a schoolmate

Published on: April 26, 2019 5:41 PM

Rawalpindi: Two teenagers have been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a schoolmate at gunpoint after they tempted him with ice cream and lured him to a deserted area.

A third suspect is believed to still be on the run after an FIR was registered by the police on Thursday.

The FIR states that the culprits tempted their 15-year-old victim to an ice cream shop when he was shopping in the area of Saddar, after this they forcibly took him to a parking lot in a car and assaulted him.

The victim alleged that the attackers tied his mouth with a cloth and pointed a gun at him while taking turns to assault him.

The victim told the police that his assailants had also made a video of the assault.

It is believed that the suspects are senior students of Grade 12 while the victim is a Grade 8 student at the same private school in Rawalpindi.

The victim, Muhammad Nasir came to Pakistan to study alone one and a half year ago, with his parents still residing in the US.

After this incident, he is being sent back to his parents in the US.

The victim’s medical examination has been completed and doctors will give a final opinion once the DNA test is received.

A case has been registered against the suspects under Sections 292, 34, 367A and 377 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
