NAB raids various godowns in Sindh

On the directions of competent authority, NAB Sukkur team conducted raid on various godowns of Food Department Larkana in the presence of Judicial Magistrate namely Khalid Ahmed Soomro. The Rahmatpur Godown Larkana was raided in presence of Judicial Magistrate and it was found that as per record there must be 42188 wheat bags however be on ground but after counting, it was notice that there are only 27350 wheat bags and there is loss of Rs. 25 million approx on Rahmatpur Godown, Larkana. Further, raid was also conducted on Badah Godown larkana. As per record PP bags of wheat must be 235000 and Jute bags of wheat must be 35000. However, on ground there are around 40000 PP bags of wheat and 5000 jute bags of wheat. The loss is approximately Rs. 55 crore on Badah Godown. Counting on other godowns will be conducted later on.
