Faryal visits her constituency flooding with HIV cases

The President, PPP Women Wing and MPA Faryal Talpur reached Ratodero on Saturday and visited the screening camp at Taluka Hospital after sudden outburst of large number of HIV positive cases in her constituency. While talking to media, she said 54 quack clinics have been sealed and notices have been issued to 26 more. She said Sindh Government has been asked to establish camps at those areas / villages where HIV positive cases have surfaced. She said they will try to provide required drugs to the affected people at Ratodero. She added that at the very outset, 15 cases were reported but so far over 3,400 people have been screened. Out of which, 128 have been detected HIV positive which include large number of children, women. It is the outcome of unlawful quack clinics’ bad practice and also negligence of illegal laboratories and blood banks. She was accompanied by Nisar Khuhro and other party leaders.

Meanwhile, eight more HIV positive cases were found at the screening camp on Saturday which included three children and two women bringing the total HIV positive cases to 128.
