ISLAMABAD – The government has officially launched the mandatory registration process for Hajj 2026, setting July 9 as the final deadline for all intending pilgrims from Pakistan.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, applicants can register either through the dedicated online portal or by visiting any of the 15 designated banks nationwide. This step marks the beginning of early preparations in line with Saudi directives.
The ministry clarified that registration is compulsory for both the government and private Hajj schemes. Overseas Pakistanis holding valid passports are also encouraged to register promptly through the online platform.
Although the registration process has begun, the official Hajj package prices, terms, and conditions will be released later under the upcoming Hajj Policy 2026. The early launch aims to avoid delays and improve coordination.
Officials stated that the decision to begin early stems from past challenges in handling logistics and administrative tasks. This proactive approach is expected to streamline the entire Hajj operation more efficiently.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has urged all interested pilgrims to complete the registration process before the deadline to avoid complications or disqualification from the 2026 pilgrimage.
