Governor meets delegation led by KCCI, Gul Plaza president

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met for the second time with a delegation led by Karachi Chamber leader Javed Bilwani and President of Gul Plaza, Tanveer Pasta, at the Governor House on Wednesday. During the meeting, Tanveer Pasta appreciated Governor Sindh’s timely rescue operation and effective measures taken during the Gul Plaza incident, according to a news release. He stated that the Governor Sindh played a prompt and practical role in extremely challenging circumstances, which helped save precious human lives. He also thanked the Governor Sindh for raising his voice at every forum for the rehabilitation of the affected people of Gul Plaza. On the occasion, various proposals were discussed by the Governor Sindh and the Karachi Chamber regarding the rehabilitation of the affected persons, protection of business activities, and prevention of such incidents in the future. Tanveer Pasta expressed his principled consent to these proposals. Member of the National Assembly Arshad Vohra, Member of Sindh Assembly Taha, and other dignitaries were also present at the meeting. The Governor Sindh reiterated his commitment that the affected people would not be left alone and that the government would utilize all available resources to ensure their rehabilitation.
