DIG briefs home minister on facilities at police training college

Sindh Minister for Home and Law, Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar, accompanied by Inspector General of Police Sindh Javed Alam Odho, visited the Shahdadpur Police Training College, where he inaugurated the restoration of the gymnasium and the Crime Scene Unit. On the occasion, the minister also inaugurated the renovation and upgrading of a modern laboratory equipped with advanced facilities at the training college.

During the visit, the minister and the IGP planted saplings on the premises, reaffirming their commitment to establishing green zones and improving the environment. Emphasizing the need to further enhance the standard of police training and promote modern facilities at the college, the minister stated that improved infrastructure and upgraded resources would strengthen the training system and help enhance the professional capabilities of the police force.

DIG Training Faizullah Korejo and Principal of Shahdadpur Police Training College, Madam Zahida Parveen, briefed the minister on various departments and ongoing initiatives. The minister appreciated the performance of the Crime Scene Unit officers and praised their professional services. Police officers of the Crime Scene Unit and other relevant officials were also present during the visit.
