Published on: February 3, 2026 4:15 PM

Islamabad: During Ramadan, deserving individuals will receive PKR 2,000 per month at home for six consecutive months. The Zakat Department will distribute nearly PKR 3 billion among beneficiaries in the first week of February.

In the first phase, beneficiaries will receive PKR 2,000 monthly, totaling PKR 12,000 over six months. The distribution will be done through JazzCash to ensure ease and safety.

Officials said the first phase focuses on timely aid during Ramadan. The department will start the distribution in the first week of February as planned. This ensures beneficiaries receive funds promptly.

Overall, the Zakat Department will provide PKR 24,000 per year to each eligible individual. Officials stressed that the program will benefit deserving people throughout the year.

The department highlighted that aid will continue six months consecutively and be sent directly to recipients. Citizens are encouraged to confirm their eligibility to receive the full amount.
