Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz announced 10 billion rupees in support for security forces in Balochistan during her visit to Quetta. She attended a ceremony at the FC Headquarters and met provincial officials, including Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti. The announcement aims to strengthen operations against terrorism and enhance provincial security.
During her visit to the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Maryam Nawaz praised Balochistan’s public spirit and loyalty to Pakistan. She emphasized that Punjab stands ready to assist Balochistan in overcoming its challenges. “National unity is key to ending terrorism. We want peace, stability, and prosperity in Balochistan,” she said.

Maryam Nawaz said the province faces the threat of Fitna al-Khawarij, not ordinary unrest. She assured full support for ongoing operations against extremist groups and pledged Punjab’s resources and services for the province’s security. “We pray that terrorism is eliminated from Balochistan soon,” she added.
Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti welcomed Maryam Nawaz and called the financial support positive and commendable. He highlighted that government and opposition in Balochistan remain united for public welfare and regional stability.
