Afghan Taliban Target Civilians, Pakistan Army Strikes Back Decisively

Published on: February 27, 2026 2:03 AM

Pakistan Army destroyed Afghan attackers

After suffering a clear defeat by Pakistan Army along the border, Afghan Taliban elements turned their anger toward innocent civilians. Mortar shells were fired into residential areas of Bajaur, injuring women and other civilians, an act widely condemned as cowardly and irresponsible. In the middle of this brutal escalation, Pakistan Army destroyed Afghan attackers, once again proving that Pakistan will not stay silent when its people are targeted. This incident highlights the urgent need for firm action to protect civilians and national sovereignty.

Security sources confirmed that shells fired from the Afghan side landed in the Laghrai area and surrounding localities of Bajaur. As a result, five civilians, including three women, were injured and rushed to Khar Hospital for treatment. Attacking unarmed civilians after military failure exposes the moral collapse and desperation of the Afghan Taliban elements involved.

Public anger is growing rapidly in Bajaur and nearby regions due to these attacks on civilian areas. Local residents have openly expressed support for Pakistan’s armed forces and demanded strong retaliation. The mood on the ground reflects national unity and zero tolerance for aggression against innocent Pakistanis.

Pakistan’s security forces responded forcefully and professionally to the cross-border firing. Enemy check posts were destroyed in Nawagai sector of Bajaur, Tirah in Khyber, and the Chitral sector. These actions are part of Operation Ghazab-ul-Haq, launched to counter repeated unprovoked aggression and to ensure lasting border security.

Pakistan seeks peace with Afghanistan, but peace cannot be built on attacks against civilians. As shown once again in the middle of this confrontation, Pakistan Army destroyed Afghan attackers and remains fully prepared to crush any threat to its people or territory. The message is clear: Pakistan will defend its citizens with strength, resolve, and decisive action.
