Four bandits surrender to police in Khairpur, Larkana

Published on: March 27, 2026 1:35 AM

As a result of the increasing pressure from the Nejat-e-Mehran operation, being carried out under the directives and orders of the Sindh government, Larkana Police have achieved a major success. Proclaimed offender, dacoit Husain Bakhsh Chandio, surrendered.
Numerous serious cases, including murder, looting, robbery, and police encounters, are registered against the surrendering dacoit. Senior Superintendent of Police Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry stated the Larkana Police’s effective strategy and courageous measures have made the ground difficult for proclaimed, absconding, and fugitive accused individuals.
He said the surrendering dacoit has bid farewell to the world of crime and has also urged his other accomplices to lay down their arms and surrender before the law.
On this occasion, SSP Larkana commended DSP Sadar, Saad Jabbar, and the concerned SHO of the relevant police station, Inspector Abdul Ghafoor Chhutto, and issued orders for their commendation certificates.
He further said the Nejat-e-Mehran operation, being conducted by Larkana Police, will continue until the complete elimination of dacoits/criminals and the full restoration of peace and order.
Separately, dacoits Saleh son of Rustam Phulpoto, Deedar son of Meeral Phulpoto and Saddam son of Ashiq Mallah, involved in murder, robbery, and police encounters on Thursday surrendered before SSP Khairpur Dr Samiullah Soomro, urging their accomplices to follow suit.
The police operation, led by DIG Nasir Aftab, aims to eradicate dacoits and restore peace. SSP Soomro stated that the operation will continue until the area is free from dacoits, ensuring citizen safety and security.
