Iran drone attack sparks fire at Fujairah oil facility

A fire broke out at a major petroleum facility in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, following a reported drone attack allegedly launched from Iran, according to local authorities. The incident has heightened concerns over regional security and the safety of critical energy infrastructure.

The Fujairah Media Office said the blaze erupted at the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone shortly after the alleged drone strike. Emergency response teams were immediately dispatched to the site to السيطرة and contain the fire.

The development came shortly after the UAE Ministry of Defence announced that Iranian missiles had been intercepted and destroyed mid-air. Officials indicated that the situation was being closely monitored amid rising tensions in the region.

Authorities have not reported any casualties so far, and efforts to fully extinguish the fire are ongoing. There has been no immediate response from Iran regarding the allegations.

The incident underscores growing instability in the Gulf region, particularly around key النفط facilities and shipping routes, as geopolitical tensions continue to impact global energy markets.
