2nd Women’s Cricket Tournament inaugurated at Shaukat Khanum Hospital

The 2nd Women’s Cricket Tournament was formally inaugurated with great enthusiasm at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, where female employees from various departments participated enthusiastically.

The tournament was inaugurated by the hospital’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Aasim Yusuf, who officially opened the event by hitting a magnificent boundary shot, adding further excitement to the ceremony. On this occasion, he appreciated the active participation of women and stated that such activities play an important role in promoting confidence, teamwork, and a positive lifestyle among women.

Dr. Asim Yusuf particularly praised the fact that women were involved in organizing and managing the tournament. He described this initiative as an excellent example of inclusion, women’s empowerment, and the promotion of a healthy work environment within the institution.

The purpose of this tournament is not only to promote the spirit of sports and physical well-being, but also to strengthen mutual cooperation, harmony, and team spirit among female employees. The enthusiastic atmosphere and active participation at the event clearly reflected the growing trend of women’s sports within the organization.

Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital remains committed to organizing such activities that promote diversity, equality, and a positive workplace environment while providing women with opportunities to excel in every field.
