Regional Inter-District U19 tournament begins today

The Regional Inter-District Under-19 (Karachi Region) One-Day Cricket Tournament 2026 will commence on Tuesday at three venues across the city under the auspices of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

A total of seven zonal teams, selected by Head Coach Iqbal Imam and Saeed Bin Nasir in consultation with zonal coaches, will participate in the tournament.

The competition will be played on a 50-over format, with each bowler restricted to a maximum of 10 overs per innings. Every team will play six matches during the tournament. According to the schedule, Zone-I will face Zone-III at the KCCA Stadium, Zone-II will take on Zone-IV at the UBL Sports Complex, while Zone-V will meet Zone-VII at Eid Gah Ground, Korangi, on the opening day.

The second round of matches will be held on June 18, followed by fixtures on June 23, June 30, July 2, July 6 and July 8 at the KCCA Stadium, UBL Sports Complex and Eid Gah Ground, Korangi. The tournament is aimed at providing competitive exposure to emerging cricketers and strengthening the development pathway for young talent in the Karachi region.
