Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has announced that more than 232,000 Pakistanis have completed online registration for Hajj 2027-2030 within the first two weeks of the registration process.
According to the ministry, prospective pilgrims have been registering through the Pak Hajj App and the official online registration portal from their homes. The registration process remains open and will continue until further instructions are issued.

Official figures show that around 175,000 applicants have registered under the Government Hajj Scheme, while approximately 58,000 have opted for the Private Hajj Scheme.
Provincial data indicates that Punjab recorded the highest number of registrations, with more than 108,000 applicants. Sindh followed with around 71,000 registrations, while over 33,000 people from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also completed the online process.
The ministry said the registered applicants include approximately 136,000 men and 96,000 women, reflecting strong public interest in the upcoming pilgrimage arrangements.
Earlier, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf formally launched the Hajj 2027 registration drive and outlined key features of the new policy.
He announced that registration would be completely free of charge and would be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. The minister also confirmed that registration is mandatory for both the Government and Private Hajj Schemes, and applications for Hajj 2027 will not be accepted without prior registration.
Sardar Muhammad Yousaf further stated that applicants must possess a valid passport with an expiry date extending beyond November 26, 2027. He added that members of the same family can register together, while overseas Pakistanis are also eligible to complete the process.

Besides the online portal and Pak Hajj App, the registration facility is also available through designated banks across Pakistan to make the process more accessible for intending pilgrims.
