Maya Ali and Mahira Khan join hands to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital

Published on: January 22, 2018 9:04 PM

Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital has won much widespread acclaim for treating poor cancer patients across the country. Owing to his much-talked-of celebrity status and affiliation with local entertainment celebrities, Imran Khan has always invited and welcomed famous personalities in order to secure funds for his hospital.

This year, the SMKH Breast Cancer Awareness campaign was held in Dubai, and brand ambassadors of the hospital, Maya Ali and Mahira Khan graced the gala with their benevolent presence.

The gala was also attended and hosted by Fakhar-e-Alam, with the three celebrities appearing on stage and encouraging people to donate for the good cause.

Besides being a star galore, the event also managed to raise and materialise incredible amounts of funds for the hospital. Imran Khan also added that the people have promised to donate $1 million to SMKH Karachi.

And we got pledges for almost $ 1 million to be paid within a year. https://t.co/2IVLZK6Ujp
