Pakistan praises Trump, pushes for Palestinian state on pre-1967 lines

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif confirmed that Pakistan’s Middle East policy supports the creation of a Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders. He made this clear after attending the important summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt. The Prime Minister stressed that this stance is not temporary but remains Pakistan’s firm and lasting policy. He also thanked US President Donald Trump for his role in ending the violence in Gaza. According to Shehbaz, Trump fulfilled his promise to stop the killings and bring peace to the region.

Moreover, Shehbaz Sharif expressed deep appreciation for President Trump’s crucial role in the Gaza ceasefire. He said Pakistan will always recognize Trump’s extraordinary efforts for peace in the Middle East. The Prime Minister highlighted that Pakistan prioritized stopping the genocide in Gaza. He added that Pakistan, along with other Islamic countries, strongly presented this demand at the summit. Their united stance aimed to end the violence quickly and protect innocent lives.

In addition, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of Palestinian freedom, dignity, and prosperity. He said these goals are at the heart of Pakistan’s foreign policy. Shehbaz pointed out that Pakistan stands for justice and supports the rights of the Palestinian people. Furthermore, he said Pakistan will continue to advocate for peace and fairness in the region. This includes backing a Palestinian state within the borders defined before 1967.

The summit in Sharm El-Sheikh brought together many world leaders to discuss peace efforts. Shehbaz Sharif’s participation underscored Pakistan’s commitment to resolving the conflict. He used this platform to voice Pakistan’s clear policy and show solidarity with Palestinians. The Prime Minister’s message stressed that peace and stability in the Middle East matter deeply to Pakistan. His statement also reflected hopes that global powers will help achieve lasting solutions.
