Pakistan have been placed in Group ‘A’ alongside India, Qualifier 1, and Qualifier 3, while Group ‘B’ consists of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Qualifier 2, and Sri Lanka. The tournament serves as a preparatory event ahead of the ICC U19 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by Zimbabwe and Namibia from January 15 to February 6, 2026.

At the previous edition of the ACC U19 Asia Cup, Pakistan reached the semi-finals before being eliminated by Bangladesh. The team will kick off their campaign against Qualifier 3 on December 12 at The Sevens Stadium in Dubai, followed by a clash with India on December 14 at the ICC Academy Ground, and will conclude the group stage against Qualifier 1 on December 16.
