Legal scrutiny has taken its due course against notorious You Tuber Adil Raja in London. A UK High Court has ordered Adil Raja to pay £50,000 in libel damages to Rashid Naseer, along with an interim costs payment of £260,000 and full legal costs. Adil Raja was already declared “proclaimed offender” in Pakistani courts during hearing in absentia. UK Court has ruled that Raja made defamatory allegations against Mr Naseer in June 2022 without any lawful defence.
Raja is further required to publish a Court-approved apology of the judgment across all his media platforms for 28 days. Summary of the judgement binds the You-Tuber to publish this apology:-
“By a judgment dated 9th October 2025 I was ordered by the High Court in London to pay Mr Rashid Naseer £50,000 in damages for libel, in addition to his legal costs, on the grounds that between 14 and 29 June 2022 I made a number of defamatory allegations about him and I had no defence to his claim.”

A strict injunction now bars absconder Adil Raja from repeating or implying a long list of allegations about Mr Naseer, including claims relating to 2022 Punjab elections, meetings, rigging, misuse of authority, corruption, or threats. The Court warned that violation of the order may lead to contempt proceedings, including fines or imprisonment. Court has ordered that payment of damages and interim costs must be completed by 22 December 2025.
Over a period of time, loyalist and sympathizer keyboard trolls of PTI used the unverified fake news and rumors floated by Adil Raja to target the state institutions. Legal defeat of You-Tuber in a way, is a dent to the rhetoric based social media propaganda of PTI as well. Hostile Indian media also amplified the objectionable content spread by absconder You-Tuber. Experts opine that flawless evidence based pursuance of legal case in UK court has set a precedence and sent a chilling warming to all the foreign based absconders involved in anti state fake news mongering against the state of Pakistan.
