Arab-Islamic meeting condemns Israel aggression

Arab-Islamic foreign ministers meeting in Riyadh called on Iran to immediately halt attacks against Gulf Cooperation Council countries, Jordan, Azerbaijan, and Turkiye. The appeal aims to reduce regional tensions, restore security, and promote diplomacy. The call affects multiple countries facing ongoing military and political escalation.

In a joint statement, the ministers emphasized adherence to international law, humanitarian principles, and good neighborliness. They highlighted these as key steps toward ending the crisis and achieving lasting stability in the region. Diplomacy was stressed as the primary tool to resolve disputes peacefully.

The ministers reaffirmed their support for the security, stability, and territorial integrity of Lebanon. They condemned Israel’s aggression against Lebanon and its expansionist policies in the region. Collective action and solidarity among brotherly countries were encouraged to address ongoing threats.

Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar expressed Pakistan’s full support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political independence of all regional countries. He stressed ending attacks on civilian populations, energy infrastructure, and critical facilities to safeguard regional and global stability. Dar also called for dialogue and diplomacy to address the root causes of the ongoing conflict.

Dar further highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to help resolve the crisis. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to playing a constructive role in promoting regional security and peace. The ministers collectively urged restraint, cooperation, and proactive steps to prevent further escalation and protect energy and economic stability.
